iTunes is Apple’s all-in-one application, which can be used as a media player, a media library, and an iOS device management tool. Both Windows and Mac OS X users can play, download, and organize digital audio and videos on personal computers. Through iTunes Store, users can purchase and download music, movies, tv shows, audiobooks, podcasts, etc.
iTunes is overall a media manager, however, many users complain of running slowly on computers, particularly on Windows PC. The Apple devices’ apps, music, movies, tv shows, photos and other media files can’t be managed intuitively. Sometimes, the iPhone, iPad or iPod device even can’t be recognized due to unknown reason.

How to transfer media files, contacts, sms, photos, playlists between iPhone and PC?
Step 1: Open TunesGo
Download and install TunesGo software on your Windows or Mac OS X. Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod to computer, and run TunesGo. Here, I connect my iPhone 5 to my Windows 8 PC.
Step 2: Select content for transfer
Click on Media, Playlist, Photos, Contacts, or SMS icon, then select the data to import or export. For example, click contacts icon, and select contacts, then click Export option to copy selected contacts in a CSV file.
Step 3: Backup iPhone contacts
Save your iPhone contacts to computer. After backup, you can open the the CSV file which contains your iPhone contacts numbers, numbers, and other data.
